My story

It’s hard to write about yourself without falling into clichés like “concrete is my passion”. Because it isn’t. Concrete is a rewarding material that lets you create forms with a surprising aesthetic effect and combine opposites: rawness and warmth, hardness and velvet, flaw and aesthetic perfection. That is what captivates me and drives my creative work.

I first worked with concrete technology and casting in 2010, while helping to build a large brand of architectural concrete products.

It was a brand with a wide reach, but I grew tired of the lack of closeness that comes with a big brand.

That is how my own workshop practice was born - and it continues to this day. I make every piece personally and with joy, putting a lot of my own energy and good vibes into it. Each one is a moment of calm and a break from the business world. Each one is unique.

Workshop

Every stage is my own work

I don’t outsource production and there is no assembly line. I take every sink through the whole process myself - which is why no two are identical.

Mixing and colouringThe colour is created in the concrete mix itself, not on its surface. The marks on the workshop wall tell the story of hundreds of sinks.
